Pictures uploaded for ads must be in "JPG" format and have a file size no larger than 200kb

All pictures uploaded for ads with be automatically resized to 400x400 pixels.

If your picture won't upload it's file size is probably larger than 200Kb limit.

The easiest way to reduce the file size of your picture is to reduce pixel size and there are several ways to do this.

Most cameras have a setting that can be adjusted so when the picture is taken, it will be a smaller size.

If you are working with an existing picture, use Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, or other picture editing software that maybe already loaded on your PC to "resize" the pictures.

If you don't have any such software, here are a few options.

PicResize.com is a website that allow you to upload a picture, resize it to your specifications and save it to your PC. This is a good option is you don't want additional software loaded on you PC and you have a fast internet connection.

Another option if you have the XP operating system is to download the free XP picture resizer available from Microsoft. This free tool allows users to resize pictures on their local PC. This is the best option if you don't have any other capable software already loaded on your PC and/or you are on a slow internet connection.
