Model 435^® Mid-Sized Street Sweeper

We introduced the TYMCO Model 435^® over a decade ago, and our engineering design principles remain the same – deliver street sweeping performance in a parking lot sweeping package. Not only is it built using the high-efficiency, time-tested TYMCO Regenerative Air System that provides unprecedented reliability, but it also delivers incredible performance and an amazingly clean sweep.

All of this matched up with an enormous amount of storage and the industry’s only hopper that uses the entire roof as a door, and the Model 435 gives you the most versatile mid-sized sweeper available.

Features

Pick-Up Head

The TYMCO Model 435^® heavy duty pick-up head incorporates full-width air blast and suction and is designed to work effortlessly with the TYMCO Regenerative Air System to pick up a wide variety of street and construction site debris from leaves and trash to heavy dirt, sand and rocks.

The Model 435 pick-up head comes standard with long-lasting Duo-Skids^® which provide increased sweeping performance and longer wear.

Hopper

The Model 435's powerful piggyback hopper dump cylinders lift the hopper up to 72 inches for dumping into large dumpsters and most 30 yard containers commonly located near maintenance facilities and construction sites.

These heavy duty dump cylinders allow the Model 435 to high dump even the heaviest of loads. A built-in safety strut is permanently attached to the hopper frame for easy accessibility when performing routine maintenance.

Gutter Broom

The 32” diameter Model 435 gutter broom removes debris from curbs, gutters and around obstacles along city streets such as parked cars and maintenance equipment. An optional tilt adjuster allows you to reach down into the deepest curbs or gutters.

The innovative gutter broom provides excellent performance by automatically determining the “digging” pressure needed for different debris; therefore, owners get maximum gutter broom bristle life and sweeping performance. If the gutter broom encounters an immovable object, it will automatically retract to avoid potential damage and return to the original position once the immovable object has been passed, all without intervention from the operator.

Dust Control

The Model 435 is the only mid-sized street sweeper on the market with a high-efficiency centrifugal dust separator for maximum fine dust particulate separation which provides excellent dust control while using less water.

TYMCO’s engineers take several aspects into account when designing for better dust control such as water nozzle design and placement, not just adding more water like other street sweepers. The Model 435 has a water capacity of 150 gallons which provides hours of sweeping while maintaining excellent dust control.

TYMCO's inherent design for conserving water while providing excellent dust control allows the Model 435 to pass the strict South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) Rule 1186 standard for excellent dust and PM10 control.

Power Unit

The Model 435 is powered by a turbocharged 56 horsepower Kubota auxiliary engine. This engine powers all hydraulic functions through a gear driven pump and directly belt drives the blower. The lightweight aluminum alloy blower that drives the TYMCO Regenerative Air System only requires a modest amount of horsepower; therefore TYMCO’s engineers designed the Model 435 around a smaller, more fuel efficient auxiliary engine.

Blower Wheel

The Model 435 is the only mid-sized street sweeper that utilizes a super-efficient aluminum alloy blower that is self-cleaning and reduces fuel consumption because of its lightweight design requiring less horsepower. The blower is designed to work with the TYMCO Regenerative Air System to both push and pull air which delivers even greater sweeping performance.

The Model 435 blower has a natural rubber coating that provides maximum wear against abrasive debris.

Rear View Camera

City streets and roads are full of cars, maintenance equipment, signs, light poles, trees and many other objects that need to be seen when backing up. The rear view back-up camera with in-cab display allows the operator to view the area behind the Model 435 while backing up providing additional safety and peace-of-mind to both Model 435 operators and owners. Additional cameras are also available to view the pick-up head and gutter brooms.

Gutter Broom –Right in lieu of standard left or Twin

The TYMCO Model 435^® gutter broom assists in removing debris from around curbs, medians and other obstacles with a 32" diameter steel digger broom with in-cab controls.

Gutter Broom Tilt Adjuster – Left, Right or Twin

The gutter broom tilt adjuster uses in-cab controls to adjust the gutter broom to the pitch of the surface being swept. The deepest curbs or gutters along parking islands, medians or other obstacles are no challenge when your Model 435’s gutter broom(s) are equipped with tilt adjusters.

Variable Speed Gutter Brooms

Allows the gutter broom speed to be controlled from inside the cab to adjust the broom speed to the type of debris being swept; for example, slowing the brooms down in extremely dusty environments to reduce the amount of ambient dust being kicked up.

Sound Reduction Engineering (SRE) Package

The Sound Reduction Engineering (SRE) Package allows the Model 435 to sweep in areas where only truck engine noise levels are desirable. SRE isolates various noise sources on the sweeper and addresses those areas through elimination or redesign. Sweeping near residential areas with noise pollution restrictions are not a problem when your Model 435 is equipped with SRE.

Hopper Deluge System

The Hopper Deluge System is a high volume water system designed to expedite flushing of the hopper after sweeping.

Hopper Load Indicators

Sensor with audible and visual indicators in-cab that signals a full hopper load.

COMDEX^®

A large 39.5 cubic foot storage box for a shorter wheelbase chassis, with alternative water capacities, access to truck batteries, and easy access for brooms, shovels, rakes and additional tools that might be needed while sweeping heavily landscaped parking areas.

Auxiliary Hand Hose

For cleaning in tight areas commonly found in downtown districts and construction sites such as around dumpsters and containers. The 10’ hand hose is 6” in diameter and comes with a 36” aluminum nozzle. An additional 10’ hose is available with a quick coupler for even more versatile cleaning.

Stainless Steel Hopper

For maximum corrosion and salt spray resistance, all hopper body sheets as well as the hopper screen are fabricated with low carbon, high chrome stainless steel. Stainless steel bolt-on blower housing, dust separator and hopper drain are also available.

Hopper Drain System

Allows the Model 435 to operate in wet conditions by draining excess water picked up while sweeping.

Pick-Up Head Curtain Lifter

Hydraulic actuated and retractable roller assembly that provides the pick-up head with the ability to sweep large volume of light debris. Electronically controlled in cab.
